What to wear

So me and my partner have been together 11 years, two gorgeous kids and finally decided to tie the knot in January. As we will just do registry with two witnesses each that is likely to happen a weekday and the day before our reception. Do I wear the wedding dress at the reception only and just something simple for the registry office the day before? Or both? Thank you!

    Is entirely up to you. If you are getting a wedding dress I would wear it for both, you only get to wear it once so to speak so I would make the most of it. if you don't want traditional dress then maybe get 2 but for me I would prefer to wear the same

    I think its upto you if you have a wedding dress get the most out of it but it would be nice to have the memory of the day you got married in pictures x as well as the day after x

    Exactly what I'm thinking but my hair and makeup won't be as good on the registry day! Ah the dilemma haha

    Could you not ask one of your friends or family to give you a bit of help do hair and makeup for you for the reception x it is hard x💗

    They will for reception but not available before the ceremony the day before. Hmm I have found another white dress I like that I would be happy to wear the day before then for the reception treat that like the real deal with hair, makeup, dress the full shebang. Thank you 😊

    You can choose some formal dress on your taste, preferable of light colors.

    Thank you! I ended up going for a nice cream dress for the Friday and a full on wedding dress for the Saturday Smiley smile
