When to start!

I'm getting married in 5 weeks. I can tell you the year will go so fast. I'm a bit bilwildered at the fact I only have 5 weeks to go. It feels like yesterday we were marking our 1 year to go!
It's never too early to start and the earlier you get things done, the less stressed you will be later on down the line. From experience the 4 month mark is high stress, tick what you can off before then and you will me much calmer. There's nothing worse than realising your running out of time and rushing to get things done. Enjoy the planning and I hope it all goes well

Nothing at all wrong with starting early! One thing to think about is how you’re going to store things once they’re made (especially if you’re moving!). I found that everything took up a lot more space once I’d made it. Be organised in how you store things as well - for example, I made my place cards, and stored them in sandwich bags organised by table so when it came to setting them out, each table was ready to go.
I also had to make sure everything was stored well because I have a cat who absolutely loved trying to help when I was making things!

I was sorting through a few things earlier and I have boxes of things I ordered last spring and even in 2021. The other good thing about starting early is you can spread the cost. I have found there a many costs you forget about and for me there were lots of extras that I paid for myself and not out of the wedding budget. I had these in a spreadsheet and I ordered them, so each month I would buy things for certain things and that would be what I worked on that month. E.g one month I had it down to sort confetti, so I got everything I needed, bagged them all up (which took longer than expected) and put them in the basket. That is now all ready.

I think now is fine as long as you have stuff protected from damage especially with you moving as well x ♥️
