Where did you get your bridesmaid dresses from?

I have 3 bridesmaids of various ages 16, 28 and 42 and I'm starting to look at Bridesmaids dresses for them. Did you buy yours from a Bridal shop or from a high street store? I really don't know where to start looking! We are looking for some shade of purple but we are slightly flexible on that....

I totally concur with this. I struggled with the high street because I had such a specific thing in mind, saw so many fantastic dresses on my travels though.

As it happened, just when I'd given up hope I found the perfect dress for £95 by Minuet Petite - stocked in certain Debenhams and HoF's.

Then even better, the dress went in the sale!!! Had a bit of drama getting all the right sizes but got them for £76 in the end!!

Havn't got them yet; I have 2 (possibly 3) adults and 4 FGs. I will definitely be getting mine from the highstreet, and will be looking at around £30-£40 for each. I have no fixed ideas aside from them being a rose pink so hoping it will be fairly straight-forward. I am keeping an eye out already!

I would say they come quite true to size. If you decide to get BHS ones try ebay first - I got mine for half of what they are in BHS and they still had the tags on! I also could have returned them if they didnt fit.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who posted in this thread - I'm about to start looking for bridesmaids dresses, so I've made a note of all the suggestions! One challenge is that one of them is nearly 6ft tall, and I'm looking for floor-length dresses to keep them warm for a Dec wedding, so I'm thinking we probably won't find any long enough off the peg on the high street ☹️

I might be too late but for those thinking of ordering from dressingpod.com I strongly advise against it, I had to pay hidden extras and then when i received my wedding dress it was awful, there was parts that had fallen off in the tiny bag it was sent in, parts were glued on inside out, there was glue stuck over the dress.
I then had to buy a second hand wedding dress off ebay as I had no time to order anything. I contacted them for a refund and they offered me 6% of what I had paid, Please don't risk it like i did it was a terrible mistake.
I purchased my bridesmaid dresses from an ebay shop which is in the UK and they were beautiful http://www.priddi.co.uk/ is the direct website. I chose a vintage pink colour they are gorgeous.

    Hope this helps Smiley smile

My bridesmaids are 4, 10, 11 and and 25 so I have got them dresses from a bridal shop which are veromia because I wanted their dresses to match and they do adult/teenage/flower girl sets. I am hoping it will make it less stressful because when the dresses come in they can be altered exactly to fit them. I think they will all need altering because they said they are usually too long, eg the adult ones are made for someone 6 foot. They are costing £185 adult, £145 teenage, and £155 flower girl.

Mine were from Vivien of Holloway. 89 squidders each. They are all having polka dot but each one in a different colour. These are them only instead of red I am having a baby blue and a dark blue one.

Coast! We were originally going to have these, but they didn't have any left in the sizes we needed! (think the BMs were secretly relieved):

So we went with these instead- got both for about £230 with my NUS discount! ?
