Where i grew up....

Although originally from brum, i consider a small village on the outskirts of ipswich, where i grew up

Where i grew up was a primary school with 2 classes of every year group, an enormous park with pond and tennis courts and the best sweetie shop ever... it even has its own palace...

I grew up in a tiny village on the North East coast of Scotland.

and we had the best chipper in the country (apparently).

In a small historic market town, population about 9,000 people. It is home to the oldest Tower-clock making company in the world! Famous Composer Sir Edward German is buried in the cemetary. Sir John Talbot who fought Joan of Arc is also buried in my town, under the porch of the 'big' church - And my Secondary school was named after him.

I grew up in a lovely town in Kent, perhaps best summed up in this definition:

CHAV: In Britain there are many words to describe people from this social group, and they are often limited to a particular town or region. Other words with a similar meaning to chav are townie, scally, ned and charver. I know where that is. I grew up in Inverbervie. About 15miles south of Aberdeen.

CraftyEm i recognise that pub it not that far from where i live now!!!

There are some lovely pictures of places, i've found more of where i came from but they're not too flattering! I couldn't wait to move away from there (it is without a doubt Shamless territory) but when i go back there is a weird feeling of "being home".
