Who can walk me down the aisle?

Willow, 22 of July of 2021 at 17:57 Posted on Planning 0 14
I’m getting married in July 2022, but I’m stuck on who can walk me down the aisle.
My parents can’t do it, I don’t have any siblings who can do it or grandparents. HELP!!

If you feel confident enough you can walk yourself down the aisle 😊
Otherwise your maid of honour could walk with you if you want someone there beside you

You can have anyone you like, it’s only a tradition not a rule, so if you have someone you would like to be there with you go for it, it’s your day 😁

Someone close to you such as a family member like an uncle, close friend, your maid of honour or can literally walk yourself down.

U could walk down on your own... I think tradition says its about passing from father to husband but that seems outdated

You can walk down by yourself

You can walk down with a friend.

And yes, you can most certainly walk with a member of your fiance's family - if it's good enough for a royal wedding, it's good enough for anyone else!

You can meet your fiance at the entrance and both of you walk down together (this is what we did - thanks to Covid, I wasn't allowed within 6 feet of anyone else!)

Just think about what will make you most comfortable - pick someone who can be calm and supportive.

I'm in the same situation, and I am walking down the aisle with my two bridesmaids (best friends). You could maybe do the same? That way you're not on your own but there are still special people close to you walking you down the aisle.
