Would you have dance lessons for the first dance?

I think it's up to you but would it be worth it x ♥️

It depends how comfortable you are, and what you want to do. If you've danced before, or don't mind just swaying, then don't bother. If you're totally new then maybe have a couple to build confidence? It doesn't have to be amazing choreography, but it may help you feel more confident and comfortable.

We have had a few dance lessons. We didn't want anything overly choreographed but we wanted to do more than just sway. Although I have danced in the past, my partner hasn't and he wanted to feel comfortable on the dance floor.
For that you don't need many lessons. We have had 2 so far and we have 1 more before our wedding, which is in 6 weeks. If you want to feel comfortable and confident and you want to do more than sway for your first dance, I highly recommend it. We both feel so confident about it now.

We had our first lesson the other day ahead of our wedding in a few months. We’ve mainly done it to help with confidence and as others have said do slightly more than just sway. I personally do recommend it or maybe at least 1 lesson, just so you can get the dancing jitters out the way beforehand.

We’ll be having 4x 1hr lessons in total
