View quoted message Yes definitely makes it easier! Some of Chris’s siblings have 4/5 kids so fitting people around that aren’t coming with kids is going to be the harder bit as I think our tables have 8 people
We might end up with slightly more tables and less people on each to make it work

Chris has 5 siblings and 4 have children so 1/3 of the ceremony is children! Not ideal but we can’t really get around it and most of them will be old enough to be able to sit still and quiet for long enough

We almost put it off to 2023 but for various reasons didn’t and I’m quite glad as it seems such a long time to wait! I like to get things organised and not leave them so I think waiting an extra year would have stressed me out more ?

Just something to think about with QR codes is that not everyone know what they are or how to read one or has a phone that can recognise one without first installing an app.

I tried using one at a couple of wedding fayre's to quickly point people to my website and most people fell into one of the above category's so I gave up with that technique in the end.

We've sort of cancelled in the end. The registry office can only hold 4 guests and we have four children. I'm kind of gutted but in the end also got what I wanted.

View quoted message Really well thank you. I’m so anal that literally every detail is planned already so I don’t have to worry about anything on the run up to the wedding. I want to be so chilled and prepared so I’m being a total bridezilla now ??
We’re having a 1920’a theme too so it’s going to be really funky! I was planning on having fudge for wedding favours but not sure whether to do something else that’s more suited to the theme?

And this was our save the date cards which i made myself

That looks amazing!!! I did our save the dates and invites too. Can’t believe how much they charge for some paper!!! We’ve got the venue & food sorted. My mum is doing the cake. I’ve ordered the centrepieces. We’re getting married in a hotel so no need for a car. My sister is doing hair & makeup. Booked the DJ & a photo booth. Flowers are on order. Just clothes left really ????
