Centrepiece vote please!!

Pinky6, 21 October, 2011 at 09:43 Posted on Planning 0 13

So I had a meeting with our flower lady the other day and I am torn between two types of centrepiece.

One is a traditional tall vase with flower arrangement, like so:

She is going to put it on mirror plates and have 3 tealights around too.

Or something a bit different like so:

but with a chunkier and taller holder

It will have ivy wrapped round and roses to match our other flowers. The pictures don't do it justice really but hopefully you get the idea. I'm not that into flowers so thought this would be a nice alternative but I really like the more traditional vase as think it will be more striking.

There is almost a hundred pound difference between the two as well though. Which one do you prefer?!

I really like the second option - they will look lovely and elegant, are you having white like the ones in the picture?

Although I still like the first ones too xxx

Yes it will be the second white one I posted. It will have a candle in the top and pink stones in the bottom to jazz it up a bit

Ohhh they sounds lovely! Like I said I love both options - but number 2 is different if you dont want traditional flower table decorations. Smiley smile x

I'm not sure to be honest, not too high. Would have to ask I guess!

Pretty even at the mo, anyone else?

Personally I prefer the second one, although I guess it depends if your wedding has a theme or a look that you are going for. What is your venue like inside?

Much easier to flash! Plus we all love a good flash.

    Defo the second one still!

Oooh a tough one. I think it depends on what your tables will be like. The second will mean people may not be able to see round to others on the table...but they are gorgeous and unusual!! Not sure I have helped at all.

I like the second one as it is lower down so people aren't trying to look round it to talk to one another.

The second one if it is a height that people can see over comfortably. If not, then the first one because it's narrow enough that people won't have it blocking their view.
