I'm Pinky, getting married 8th June next year for the 1st time. I'm 24 and been with OH for 3 and half years. I'm a restaurant manager and my job sucks as I work ridiculous hours (which means I get to come one here less!) but due to a certain wedding next year I can't afford to leave.

Currently co-ordinator for the Hitched sixpences - it's actually more work that I expected, but then again it's summer and the busiest part of the year for weddings.

Hi..... I'm a full time wedding DJ. During the week when I'm not busy with meetings etc I choreograph first dances. I live and breath weddings....and see so many in a year. One day...yes one day..... I may even have a ticker myself and be planning and asking for advice rather than giving it (one can only live in hope)....mind you....I said that last year.... and the year before!

Sandysounds - I am so jealous! I would love to work in weddings full time but I'm scared to take that jump. Good Morning Purple Pixie!!! I'm la1510 (Lucy) and I'm getting married on the 21st January next year- now starting to panic as just realised how close that is!! I'm 26 and so is OH (he's 2 months older) and we meet nearly 6 years ago at uni. I'm a customer service manager for a bank and OH works with wires and electrical things (I hsve no idea what he does really as it all goes completely over my head!!) I just came back fom holiday on Sat and have the post holiday blues which isn't good but hey ho I have a tan at least!!

Good morning! I'm Lucy, getting married on 8th October (two months yesterday!). I have been with my OH for nearly 11 years (since we were 17). I have a cat called Bumblebee who used to be diabetic but cured himself (miracle cat!). I work in retail which is ok but really I would like to paint or do something crafty (I'm making a lot of things for the wedding and doing all the flowers). I apologise for the lack of paragraphs as I'm on my phone and it just lumps it altogether in one big paragraph!

Hi PP, we're getting married on the 7th so a couple of weeks before you in a bit of a lull at the moment, but have recently sent out the save the dates and we're choosing OH's kilt on Thursday We have most things sorted at the moment, which was the plan as I don't want to be stressing closer to the day!!

I'm getting married in Australia on 4th August 2012. I'm a 28 year old solicitor and OH is a 34 year old solicitor. I'm not enamoured by the law and would love to move into a different career but the timing isn't quite right.

We will have been together 6 years on our wedding day.

We've been engaged around 18 months already, so I feel I know almost all I need to know about planning a wedding and the wedding mags are starting to repeat themselves!

HI, we get married on the 11th August next year... I can't wait. I am a student nurse and qualify next year, I am not sure I thought things through cos I qualify the day before I get married so I will be meeeeeeeeeeeeeega stressed.

I am studying at the moment, doing a part time access to higher education course and the certificate in safe handling of medicines, I am hoping in 5 years time i will be a fully qualified Midwife. =D

JLCB2B - a kilt? Hope it's not a windy day ? I had exactly the same plan about getting as much done as soon as possible but a full time job, 2 kids, an OH who works silly long hours and my illness has meant that I'm struggling to find time to sleep let alone plan a wedding.
