Me and OH have been looking to book our honeymoon since September.
It is now getting into December and still can't decide what we want to do.
We have so far considered:
Mexico, Egypt, Greece, Italy, New York, Driving Tour of Europe, Route 66 Tour, Croatia, Canada, Cottage in UK.
Our problem seems to be the pressure we are putting on ourselves due to it being a honeymoon.
We have lived together for the last 7 years and only ever gone on holidays together in Europe or the UK, or to USA to see family.
But there is nothing that comes to mind that either of us really want to do. He just definitly doesnt want to do the same thing we have done for the last 7 years, and all I really want to do is go to New York at Christmas.
Being traditional though we definitly have decided that we want to take our honeymoon directly after getting married.
July just seems terrible for going on holiday.
We visted the travel agent this weekend just gone and she told us that we would be silly to consider Mexico due to the weather and the humidity, and that Egypt would be way too hot. And then went on to say that Europe would be terribly busy and crowded, and overpriced due to the time of year.
Neither of us are beachy types.
I just feel like completly giving up or re-arranging the whole wedding for the winter just so that we can do some of the other ideas I have had, such as New York at Christmas, or Austin, Texas for the Grand Prix in November.
Is anyone else having as much trouble as we are?
