How happy do you think the kittens will be on a scale of 1-10?

If they're anything like mine they will act like they have no legs the minute you put it on them.

Audrey doesn't like hers at all! When we're in the house she just tries to reverse out of it! She definitely won't walk on it so I just carry her with it on. We only use it on sunny days so she can come and sit outside and I tuck the handle of the lead under the leg of my deckchair so she can't run off. Once she feels the warmth of the sun she generally lays out and goes to sleep.

The cat in the picture doesn't look too thrilled. Good luck!

Put on gloves, shin guards and a helmet before you even attempt to put it on them.

I borrowed one from our neighbour to see how they got on. Really wish I had thought of that before I bought one this afternoon bu there we go.

It did not go down well, naughty one tried to chew through it to get it off. Little one just laid flat on the ground and cried in a pitiful way untill I took it off.

Oh and it wouldn't fit the big boy- he is too immense.

    ?

I think this would be pretty much the case with my two boys. Salem would shred you for so much as bringing it near him and Loki has a bit of girth to him Smiley winking

Are you going to keep trying or admit defeat?

Oh dear. Good effort though, are you going to persist? If so, do short sessions of them just getting used to the feeling of it. Some cats do take to them eventually.

I bought mine harnesses when they were younger, they were freaked out and both bolted, I got shredded in the process of removing the harnesses! Now we have a cat flap ?

Well done for trying! We tried one with the kittens we looked after but they sat down and refused to move.

I wouldn't dare try one on Meg, she isn't afraid to attach her teeth to your hand if she deems it necessary.

We had one of those harness thingy majigs for our semi-feral cat years ago. I litterally had to put my knee on his chest to get him in it. Safe to say he was not amused.

We bought one of these for our house cat when we were training him to go outside. I didn't have any of the above issues, he was quite happy to wear the harness, I think all the smells distracted him!!
