6 As, 2 Bs and 2 Cs. Oh, plus an extra GCSE equivalent in an extended maths paper (I got a 'merit' ?). This was back in 1990 - no A*s in my day.

    I was a swot.

    5 A's and 4 B's in 1991

A-levels followed a similar theme, then I went to uni and discovered alcohol and not living with my parents!

2 B's, 7 C's and 1 D. I spent far too much time being a rebellious teenager to do any revision. I would have hated to be my mother at the time!

I am in Scotland so did Ordinary and Standard Grades, they are graded by numbers rather than letters. I got 8 1s (you had to get over 77% to get a 1), English, French, German, Maths, Modern Studies, Biology, Arithmetic, Secretarial Studies

5 A*s, 4 As and a B. The B was in Religious Studies which we were forced to take by the school, and all throughout 6th Form whenever I saw the RS teacher he'd say "Ah, Sarah, you got a B in my subject, didn't you?"

I want to know how you get half a C ?
