    Hate it!

I have given it to Caleb once when we were round my parents (we don't have any at home) but he didn't seem keen - then again it might have been because I put a bit too much on!

See here is the strange thing. I love marmite but cannot stand twiglets. I think it is a strength issue. I must mix my marmite with plenty of butter.

Me and H both LOVE it. As do both my children, thank goodness. I might have questioned their paternity if they didn't?

Marmite soldiers dipped in boiled eggs, marmite and cream cheese sandwiches, marmite crisps .... ?

Don't think I like - I can't get it past my nose to get it into my mouth ? Quite fond of twiglets though - are they marmite flavour or something?

I love it and used to be addicted to it. I kid you not i had jars of it hidden all over my parents house, down the side of sofas, under my bed, behind bookcases etc and i used to walk round with a spoon in my pocket so i could eat it anywhere. In the end my mum put me through cold turkey and none was allowed in the house so i moved onto sucking oxo cubes!!!

Ooh, on a similar note - what is the deal with Bovril? H likes it but the smell turns my stomach and it just looks grim in the jar. That said I did once add it to a stew cos I realised halfway through making it I didn't have any Oxo left.

Last time I had Marmite was about 10 years ago and I hated it with a passion, nowadays I'm too scared to eat it so I don't know whether I've changed my mind

    Hi Rusty

I hate it but my H loves it and Charlotte has tried it and she appears to like it as well. I am now outvoted in our household. My H took great delight in running round the kitchen with his t-shirt pulled over his head (like they do in football) and gave me very smug looks. Gah!! Oh well, at least it is good for her.

    xx
