I didn't but mine was a proper corset with steel bones and everyfink so there was no way a bra would have gone under it without the wires becoming warped when I was tightly laced in ? Sorry, probably not that helpful for just a normal lace-up dress. I would probably say try it without and if you're not comfortable/confident in it source a bra to wear underneath. You'll need to have the bra for when you get your alterations done though, as you'll need to wear it so they can fit it properly.

This is something I think I'm going to decide at my dress fitting!

I'm going to buy a strapless bra anyway, take it along and then I'll try my dress with and without it, and get the opinion of the dressmaker and also how I personally feel. I have quite big tatty bojangles so I definitely want to feel supported!

    I'll keep you updated ?

Wasn't going to. But my boobs aren't exactly massive, so hopefully no escapees ?

I'm having a basque (yes under my corset dress!) given the size of my chest there was no way I would risk going without!

Personally, with 32F breasts....not a chance of me going without one. I bought a nice plain white strapless one from bravissimo which is low enough that it won't show over my dress but gives me enough support that I don't feel like I'm hangin by my knees lol! http://www.bravissimo.com/products/lingerie/strapless-bras/panache/strapless-bras/pnb9-details.aspx?colour=black&ck=HKet0quRs6k%3d i got this one in white if that helps you Smiley smile

I'm a 34E and never go braless but I was more than supported in my dress without. A bra under my corset dress would have been agony as I tried it in the shop and the wires from the bra were digging in.

Depends what the corset is like in your dress SG whether you'd feel supported enough so try with and without.

This is what I did. I have quite big boobage too so bought a bra but my dress is so close fitting what with it being lace up and the bra was digging in me. I've decided to go without!

I was definitely at the back of the queue when it came to the boob department. But when i went to the bridal shop to dry some dresses on i asked her about 'gaping' dresses around the boob area! I think it looks awful and signs of a poorly fitted dress. BUt she also told me that this problem also occurs when you wear a bra underneath the dress.

However, you ladies who were definitely ahead in the queue, i can understand do not feel too safe without one.

And how can you call an 'e' cup 'hardly massive'!! ha ha my H2B would think all his christmases had come at once if i popped those babies out for him
