Hugs.... a very tough decision to make i'm sure. hope you are doing ok and good luck to you both for the future.

I have only been on 'hitched' since October so I've missed whatever has happened, but nevertheless I'm sorry to hear that - any break up is difficult, whatever the circumstances, more so when a wedding is in the plans. ☹️

I'm in Lincolnshire too, so will definitely keep an eye out for any bargains ?

I am sure you are doing the right thing and you will look back in a much shorter time than you ever expected and realise how much happier you have been since.

Just wanted to re-iterate what the other girls have said. It's a very brave thing to call off a wedding (I did the same 6yrs ago) but in your heart of hearts you know it's the right thing to do. Time really is a great healer and you will be all the more stronger for it. Take care if yourself and to hell with what anyone else thinks x

Competely understand why you feel like that and hopefully as time goes on you will be able to enjoy planning a wedding in a better frame of mind.

It must have been a hard decision to leave him but hopefully with time and the counselling you will be able to work through your issues and live a happy life. Hopefully you can now make a fresh start.

Have you split up K or have you just decided to take your time with things?

Either way then hope things work out for the best, although it might not feel it now. I think you've made the right decision (whichever one you've gone for) to do what's right for you.

I cant even begin to describe the feeling of relief I had when I made the decision to cancel, a huge weight of uncertainty released from my shoulders.

We are still "together" if together means co-existing and trying to pretend that everything's ok...?!

Time will tell, this weight off our shoulders (the wedding) will either make us realise that we can work this out without all the added stress or indeed drive a wedge between us.. we shall see!
