What are you having on top of your cake?

I'm having the same. On top of the fruit cake she is going to do sugar flowers to match my bouquet. You could have fresh flowers perhaps if you can't get sugar flowers?

We're having an M&S simple 4 tier ivory iced cake and the florist is doing a floral topper for us.

I left mine plain. Couldn't decide what to have so decided on nothing. It looked good. Nice and simple. Especially with all the wonderful cup cakes below.

We are having 4 tiers (seperate) and each tier has a small wreath of artificial thistels and ivory roses (foam) with diamante sprays. My aunt made them for me. Must get flash soon. Love em!!!

I ordered my cake topper way back in March this year - still waiting for it to be delivered, despite numerous emails - some answered some ignored, am so not impressed with the company

I am having the same as Kelstars, floral topper with a love sign in front and tea lights surrounding it.

My OH saw this on ebay which made us laugh as he's a mechanic and i do lose him to the garage some evenings/weekends!

I'm going to try and make our toppers myself as the prices are quite high for something that we don't think is essential...

We want to have copies of our minis at the based of the cake, so I did a little attempt at the weekend (it's the one on top of the model of a mini, it's only about an inch long as that's all the clay I had left after the penguins below!).

We didn't have one. Our fruit cake had enough decorative icing on it so to have had a topper, I don't think would have looked right.

H is rugby mad, he's medic for the local team now that he's too old to play (may flash a very dodgy looking photo taken this weekend hmm) anyway this was our cake topper, kind of.. the cake stand H had his heart set on meant that we really needed 3 toppers so I bought sugar flowers for the other 2 tiers - as seen here too

Wow, this has come out a bit big!!. Anyway, I haven't really decided on the Cake yet, but just love these Doves, and if I don't use them on the top will probably put them at the base of the Cake!

Me and my boy have always been obsessed by monkies so i want something like this

All the "people" were based on photo's of our bridal party, the men on the second tier were personalised as one had a pint of Guinness which he always drinks and the other wants to be a politician so had the red budget briefcase. H is a computer geek so has a laptop on his knee I'm a nurse so have a stethoscope around "mini me's" neck, and a nurses hat, behind mini-me is my veil!

This was ours - blue wire hearts. We weren't going to have anything but I decided it needed something so made these the day before.

We are also having a cupcake tower with fruit cake tier, still no idea what to have on the top though.
