ETA: Both are fragrances we would usually wear, we haven't picked them just because they match

Don't think I have ever smelt (that i know of!) Vera Wang Princess. Do like the idea that seeing as Vera Wang dress was clearly not an option the perfume could be! thanks folks, will go abuse the perfume counter this weekend trying some out.

Argh I have found that too Trickers, with Lovely by SJP. love it on others but feels and smells really boring on me!

My daughter is wearing Glee! perfume on the day...

I'm another Princess fan and wore both the perfume and the body lotion on the day. Again, I wanted to smell like 'me'.

Oh my god they do a Glee! perfume??!!! for real?! God they are cashing in aren't they haha!

OH and I have decided to give each other fragrances for the morning of the wedding, and I have heavily hinted for this one hehe! I'm wanting to wear a different perfume than I'd normally wear, so that when I wear it afterwards for special occasions it will remind us of the wedding.

Also, I'd never normally spend that much money on perfume so its the perfect opportunity to get one thats a bit special!

Chanel No 5. Got my mum to buy a bottle of parfum to bring over with her but I could only afford the smallest which is a tiny 7.5ml!! I think If the photographer takes a picture of it as part of the prep photos it will have to be on it's own or it'll get lost in the photo, lol

Chanel No5 smells really bad on me, but CoCo really nice. That said, I can't stand CoCo on my Mother (I literally have to open the window if she gets in the car with it on), but I like it on my SIL.. Very odd.

I think I am going to have to go out and smell this Vera Wang Princess as it seems to be very popular.

I wore Acqua di Gioia by Giorgio Armani. Perfume smells different on everyone due to different PH balances in people's skin.

Thanks everyone, have now purchased a few samples off ebay so i can try properly rather than on a stick in a shop!

Also - another tip. Don't smell more than 2 - 3 perfumes in a short period of time. Your nose gets confused easily (tried to think of a better way to phrase this!) I'd also give the perfume time to settle, as when you initially spray, all you can smell is the top note. The base and middle notes of the perfume are what you will smell throughout the day.

I'd also recommend layering the scent by using the body lotion and applying the spray to pulse points.*

*you can't tell I used to work in the beauty industry, can you?!

He says it's "my" scent. So I haven't worn it since we started wedding planning.. I started wearing my CK Be stuff which smells completely different. Going to wear my JPG on the wedding day.. it saves me having to find something nice and as I haven't worn it for well over a year, him smelling it again on the wedding day will be a lovely surprise for him
