My husbands name is Stephen so equally as common as mine. I do like it, and I do hope to use it as a middle name one day. (if we are lucky). I call him Steve generally, unless I'm angry and then it's a stePHen, with extra emphasis on the ph as you can see.

Mine is Stuart. Stu or Stuey to me. Stoopid to his parents (although he hates it) and Uncle Chewit to the kids in the family.

Its OK, I can think of much worse names!

Mine is Aaron which I like. He hates it though. Everyone except me calls him Az which I cannot stand. I call him welsh because he is. He was born Edward and his Mum changed it when she split from his Dad and Edward doesn't suit him at all. Strange

Me too! I saw a t-shirt that said 'everyone knows a Dave, but I'm married to one'.

My H is called Ben. I like it, it really suits him. Its also a possible baby name if we ever get there, although he wants Jack after his late Grandad. We are another set of "Moo" callers!

Mine is an Ian. Nice and dull.

He also answers to kn0b head, as I use that more than his name.

Tomos (Welsh spelling). I like it, I always use his full name and never call him Tom.

When I was really young I used to call the actor Sean Bean "Seen Been". My mum has never let me forget it.

I have an Andy. His family call him Andrew which confuses me, I only call him that when he's in trouble.

I've got a Rob (although I've always called him grumpy) His Dad calls him Robert so does his 4 year old cousin?!

Gets confusing cos my Dad and Grandad and my (now departed) great-grandad are all Robs although Grandad is Bob, My great-grandad used to call my Dad Bobbie and all my family now call my Rob robbie- I really dislike this.

This. I've met too many Irish Seans to count and they're all pronounced Shawn/Shaun.

In Gaelic, an S with an E on either side is soft i.e. Sh, not Ss. And the 'ea' makes a glide vowel that sounds like 'aw' (with a softer w).

    Snap.

Pedro is often used but I never do. I only ever call him Pete, or MrMini (yes this has morphed into real life) or just Mr.

Mine's Will. Only William if he's been very naughty - even his parents call him Will!

I like it, but I wouldn't say I love it. I don't really have a list of favourite guy's names.

My husband is called Michael. On his birth certificate it's actually Patrick Michael, but he decided when he was very young that he preferred Michael. When we were getting married I had to tell the Registrar that he's known as Michael as she kept referring to him as Patrick, so on the marriage certificate Im married to Michael (formerly known as Patrick Michael).

I call him Paddy to annoy him, or Mikey when Im after something hehe.

My OH is Christian, which I quite like. He used to hate it because at school people made jokes about his name being a religion, so he likes to be called Chris, which I also like. My godson calls him Crisps though.

I don't mind his name, it's Sean (pronounced Shawn). His mother always calls him Seanie (pronounced Shawnee) which really grates on me - it sounds so sappy and it sets my teeth on edge just hearing it.

Still, it's slightly better than what she wanted to call him - "Leigh" (with that spelling) because she came from Leigh ?

My H is Francis. He gets called France mainly though which suits him. If we have a boy it will be his middle name, I don't think I would've done that if I didn't like the name though! Its uncommon but not too unusual. I hate it when work mates call him Frank, and he hates if anyone uses Fran as it sounds so girly and he's a big bloke - it looks daft!

My OH is called Kris and was named after Kris Kristofferson. I like it, but he usually has to spell it to people as the assume it's the Chris way.
