I searched Facebook and it's not showing :-(

We've done our own centres which our florist is setting up for us, it saved a fortune!I think it helps that she is a friend.

    M&M when's your date?!

    Hi Guy's

So I think I am going to book the resident DJ, but before I do just wondered if anyone who has used the resident DJ also hired a photo booth with him too? Also How did you book and pay?

I emailed him to ask how to book and pay and he told me to ring his mobile and pay by credit/debit card...just does not feel very formal...is he completely independent from the venue?

    Thanks

    Eve

Another great wedding yesterday at Crondon. Congratulations to the lovely couple. The venue looked amazing as usual and the magic went down really well. For all of you that are planning your wedding there......... What a fabulous choice you have made.

The food we've had there in the past has been absolutely delicious. They've always served suppliers 3 courses whenever we've been there and all were perfect.
I can't really comment on the drinks, as I've only ever had coke/water but staff and service have always been good ?

Morning crondon brides! I am getting married there in September this year and was hoping for some advice- as there is no access to the venue until the morning of the day how has everyone else planned on decorating, eg. Centre pieces that aren't floral, signs, fairlights, card table etc? Has anyone used someone external to come and help? X

Such a lovely venue. I'm taking my in laws to view it this weekend, can't wait to show it off and have a look around again.

I do actually have a quesiton for anyone who's got married here before. Do the people at the venue set everything up fpr you on the day? So, I take cake, centre pieces, favors etc the day before and they put them where they should be? Or do i need to arrange for someone to do this for me on the morning on the wedding?

    Hi,

im new to this forum but would appreciate advice. I'm a little worried about quality of the food if I'm honest as they won't offer a menu tasting even though I offered to pay for one.

i would have though that a venue who are proud of their food wouldn't act like they have something to hide? Also I've enquires about the chefs choice of potatoes as stated in the menu and the lady was a little vague and said she would imagine it would be something like roast potatoes given the time of year I'm getting married (November 2016) I really don't want new potatoes as they're so boring and lazy. The amount of money I'm paying and not being able to choose the potatoes I serve sounds ridiculous.

Any previous brides who got married at Crondon comment on their experiences of food? Would appreciate your comments.

    thanks

Hi, I think thats a concern many brides geting married there have (Im getting married in July). however, every single one of the past brides Ive spoken to that got married there could not fault the food at all. Everyone commented on how the food is not just nice but amazing so I'm not worried!

the standard potatoes are new potatoes, but if you put your foot down they will make roasties.

As a photographer i've eaten at Crondon plenty of times and the food is always flawless. They've always served us a full 3 course meal when we work there and without fail it's been perfect.

I can understand your concern, i'd have the same thoughts if we were not able to have a tasting at our venue but based on our experiences, I genuinely don't think you have anything to worry about ?

Hopefully that puts your mind at rest a little.

Also, i've only ever had roast potato's served there, never new potato's.

We had a look at Crondon Park but felt the ceremony room was extremely small and had no wow factor. It's a shame because the reception room is lovely! Also the bridal suite we were shown was definitely not what you would call a suite haha.
