Oh no, I had a poorly 3.5 year old last week, chest infection but it was nice to have some pyjama days!
I haven't picked my dress yet but here's a flash of my venue and a couple of dresses I like!
Our ceremony is being held here, can't find the pic of the reception area on my laptop, doh!
Would love this dress in the tartan to match my OH's kilt and have my bridesmaids in ivory or white but don't think I'm brave enough plus it's £2500!!!
Woo Woo - wish we could have a PJ day but I have to get my eldest from school later (and had to take her).
I love the venue that is stunning!
The tartan dress is gorgeous! So different and would tie in well but £2500 ? - could a dress maker make one for you and if you are worried you are not brave enough just have the train in tartan?
I do love the second dress though simple but stunning. Two very different dresses.
I'm killing time on my lunch, i don't want to clock in eraly because we have a massive queue of customers! bloody begining of March!!! any way i think the tartan dress is such an original idea, i like it! i think without the lining/cloak thing on the back it wouldn't look so bold? - but with that price tag....eek!
That was the same situation as me, but thankfully my friend took my daughter who is 7 to and from school for me with her children so we were lucky to be able to stay indoors
That's actually a really good idea about the train, I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to have a whole dress made, maybe I should though, will start thinking about that. My dress budget is about £1000 but didn't really want to spend all that on the dress, decisions decisions!
I found some more pics of venue, you'll regret starting this post soon!
Ceremony room, I won't have the chairs like this, the front row will be lilac and the rest cream, don't like the random look!
The reception area, just across from ceremony room, you have to walk over a perspex bridge to get here, it's lush lol!
I had my bridesmaids and flower girls dresses made and it worked out much cheaper and they were fantastic. If you find a good dressmaker (look at their work) then you may find it can come in below budget.
Your venue looks stunning! I love the ceremony room.
Stazzle! Gorgeous venue - we had a castle as well and the dress is lovely.
Geordiebarbie - I do love you dress really simple but stunning. Nice venue too.
Gillsy - The view from your venue is stunning, and loving the dress.
Emmy - Love the simplicity of your dress and will look fab with the cape - I love winter wedding. Your reception room is lovely and light and love the beams!
Barbles - Lovely venue bet you cannot wait to book it.
Wow Meggles that is all stunning especially love the dress!
Nayso - love where you are having the ceremony.
I can show you all where I had my reception but not my dress as obviously it is not sold anymore after 9 years ? We had our ceremony in church and then had exclusive use of the grounds and bedroom of this castle/hotel. Hope the pics work never done this before.
