View quoted message Yeah my daughtet has a curved spine scoliosis but they wont operate because she is 19 and she wont grow anymore well she got in from collage said she wasnt to good went to lie down then about 10 oclock She couldnt move had to call an ambulance xx she had pulled a muscle in her back but the pain was so bad she they said its the curve pushing on her ribs xx Im glad you can be there for him an you know hpw it feels just stay strong together you will get through this xx💗

I don’t understand MIL’s problem! If cousin is fine with it, what’s it got to do with her? Also, it isn’t her wedding day, it’s yours and your H2B’s day so what you say goes! I think, if she wants to be like that, let her. She will be the one looking back and regretting not taking part and putting a downer on things during her son’s and daughter in laws special day for something that wasn’t worth the arguing.

Then he text his dad saying "I'm going to transfer the money back you've given us for the wedding tomorrow". They then panicked. Another wave if missed calls and texts ensued. But his mother is a master manipulator and managed to say evey single thing that my H2B has ever wanted from them in a single text. He was so happy it qas like speaking to a different person. In my experience of narcissistic parents once they realise their control is slipping, they try and reel you back in. She offered him every word of affection he's never had. She even put two xx on the text. Never has she done that. She called him and asked him to go around. He did. 30 mins later he was happy as Larry. They'd all made up! He'd apologised. They'd apologised to him. Apparently the whole thing was a "misunderstanding". Then he tried to pass me over to speak.tp them. NO WAY. I said absolutely not. I was still really hurt and upset by what was said. I asked him to tell them I'd speak to them after the weekend. He was really p*ssed off with me after that. Almost felt like a complete dismissal of my feelings because they were fine. He was trying to pressurise me into working it out when I wasn't ready.

My own are highly toxic people and they don’t even know I’m getting married! I haven’t seen them in 6 years. My fiancés parents are very controlling in the case of ( you have to get people a certain number of presents, no less. You have to do this, you have to do that etc) but he’s put his foot down recently and said we’re doing things our own way, starting with we’re going away for his birthday and not seeing anyone, another, we won’t be inviting anyone to our wedding (I think they still believe they’re not included in that and they will be there) but they felt control slipping, suddenly they’re offering to pay for this birthday trip and buy us things. Money is their control button and I’m also quite sick of it, don’t worry lovely, it will get sorted. It’s not fair they’re causing arguments between you and H2B.

So thats it sorry to him and its all forgotten x just hope she realises how you feel and she comes to you face to face and says sorry x💗

View quoted message Yep. He qas absolutely fine and tried to even make them take him to London this weekend!! Even his dad said he had to leave the house because although they had made up my H2B had royally taken the piss. I went around to their house on Monday night to speak to them without him. It became quite apparent ihad been told a very edited version of the conversation between them. Very edited. She was vehemently adamant she did not day I was a disappointment. She said she would never day that because its not true. She said what she said was "its disappointing". A world apart from calling me a disappointment. She also said that my H2B hadn't told them about all the changes we'd or rather I'd need to make I order to let his cousin come. Once I explained it or listed it she said "if I'd known there is no way in hell I would have suggested you change things". At this point I got very upset and told her how I'd felt over the week. I hadn't slept, I felt sick and I felt unworthy. All of th3 things my father had told me and made me feel, all of the abuse I had buried had all xome back up. I started crying and then she got upset and said "Kate if I had said that I would apologise. I apologise now for making you feel any of those things. I am so sorry." I said that it would take time for those feelings to go away as a lot of hurt had been caused. A lot. I was hurt and I felt like I had had a relapse. I felt raw again like all my healed wounds had been ripped open again. I'm a week away from the big day and I don't know what I should do or how I should feel. I feel numb.

View quoted message I know, I know I should be more excited and feel loved up and everything else. I'm out on my hen day today, making cocktails, having my nails done, a meal and a proper night out. Feel a little better but not massively. We are okay, I'm just needing a little space as those feelings I had, haven't gone. They're lingering and I'm so worried about my black dog coming out to play it's unreal. I want to feel beautiful and wanted and loved. Not put on or stressed or worrying about in law's.
