So,we decided to move the wedding forward...

From 4th May 2013 to 31st October THIS YEAR.

We decided that the only thing we wanted out of a wedding, was to be married, so there's no point us bothering with all the extras.

We're just taking our kids and a couple of witnesses and getting hitched. It's a secret IRL, so those on my FB, can you keep ️?️ please. I'm not even telling my Mum.

After my 2 failed engagements, she "joked" that if me and my OH were to get married, we should just "bugger off and do it" so that's what we're doing. I've got my dress, and we know what OH is wearing, so we just need rings.

I'm very excited, and feel a lot better about this, than when we were planning a bigger "do", so I can't wait.

    Aw how romantic! Its posts like this that make you realise that all the extra stuff is pointless! Getting married is the main part of the day and that is quite often forgotten or ignored for the big party!!

    Hello Kitty will be featured. I have a HK necklace, a HK charm in my bouquet, HK flesh plugs and i'm hoping to make a HK clip for my hair, and of course my HK tattoos will be on show.

    My Mum really won't mind, neither will my Dad. It would have been totally different if my step dad was still alive. He's have been GUTTED, so I wouldn't have done it this way. My parents don't get on, and it would have been a very tense atmosphere on the day, probably putting a massive downer on it.

    No, it isn't. I have got a VoH dress that OH bought me for our 2013 wedding, but he got a smaller size. I very almost fit in it after having Jacobey, but not quite. Didn't want to put too much pressure on myself to fit in it by October, so I bought a new dress just incase. Turns out I love my new one more than my VoH one, was loads cheaper too. I'm hopefully going to wear my VoH one when we have our "reception", whenever that may be...

    Either way its gorgeous. Which viv dress have you got? You're doing so well with the weight loss another month or two might make all the difference and you might be able to wear it anyway

    We haven't discussed having a reception. I'm not too keen on having one, but if my OH wants one, then I guess we will.

    Family and friends will find out when I change my relationship status on FB. We're not doing a big announcement to people.

    I did think of taking my mum out for a meal, then saying "oh yeah, we got married", knowing full well she won't believe me, then flashing the certificate at her or something.

    I haven't got a petticoat yet. I'm going for pink or purple.

    Next decision is wether to keep my hair purple, or dye it pink again.
