Strange Combinations of foods you like to eat

My little brother used to have cheese on toast and then cover it in Jam. I couldn't see the appeal, but each to their own!

I love salt and vinegar Crisps and Chocolate. Chocolate covered pretzels were a favourite of mine!

Oh, and I love chips on top of pizza too (like an extra topping)...terrible if you're trying to diet though!

Yorkshire puddings and tomatoe ketchup. Those who have said they can just munch their way through a jar of pickled onions, I love this too, although I alternate with pickled beetroot. Nom nom nom.

One of my colleagues loves salad and beef gravy which I find odd!

I like fruit with savoury things, so will stick grapes and mango into a ham sandwich.

I also like to have lots of beetroot with more or less every main meal, but (TMI warning) sometimes it turns my wee pink and then I know I need to quit for a while!

Carrot sticks and Peanut butter. Heaven! I make a wrap with peanut butter, grated carrot, cucumber sticks lemon juice, spring onion and sweet chilli sauce. Ameeezzzzinn.

I loove pickled onions and beetroot and stuff too.

I also love eating a bar of cadburys chocolate, alternating each bite with a salt and vinegar wakers crisp. LUSH.

This would be my worst nightmare! I hate fruit and savoury and I hate beetroot.

? I was only about 8 and developing my taste buds! I can't believe my Mum let me have it.

Its not that weird but when we have spag bol, instead of the spaghetti bit I have my mince and sauce with lettuce, baby gem is particulary good you can use it like a spoon to scoop up the mince. Tasty!

Most of these sound normal to me! H thinks I'm odd because I prefer noodles with curry, but I think that's normal.

Agree with this, or a kitkat with ready salted crisps.

This is an actual pizza topping in Teesside. Chips and garlic sauce (like a garlic mayo) on top of a margherita. It's called a 'London'.

I love pizza and gravy. Oh, and grated cheese and gravy. Bean butties are darn good too - Way better than beans on toast.

Mr R used to have Yorkshire pudding with jam when he was younger. WTF?!

No strange ones for me really....I have to have ketchup on savoury pie pastry, think that's more obsessive!

My mum used to have it with golden syrup... Weird.

Yorkshire pudding with peaches and/or rasperries topped with mascarpone cheese and golden syrup is an amazing dessert. Oh, as long as you don't use the Aunt Bessies ones with sage and onion in. That'd be rank. Home made only for this one!

WOW! I'm liking the sound of that A LOT! Must remember to try it with a garlic mayo type sauce next time!

When I was younger I used to come home from school and make myself a salad omelette, I'd throw lettuce, tomato & cucumber in there.

A couple of my favourite things to eat now is pasta and soup with grated cheese on top or pasta with tomato ketchup and grated cheese on top. I'll happily eat that if OH is away and I can't be bothered to cook something proper for myself.

butter on rich tea biscuits,

fries inside the burger and fries dipped in mcd milkshakes!

H had sugar sandwiches too!

Greggs now do sausage rolls with ketchup inside them, so this is officially normal.

I go through a large chip shop style jar a month, mmmmm!

I LOVE a mix of sweet and savoury/salty - one of my faves when I was younger was bacon and jam sandwiches. Mmmmmmm........

(I justify this by saying meat is good with sweet stuff - pork and apple sauce, turkey and cranberry sauce).
