I'm going to break my "just say it" rule because it's so easily guessable: Male, spotted in La Fromagerie (cheese shop) in Highbury, looking like a bit of a goon.
Does anyone get one of these? What's the quality like? Is it good value? As a family we get through around 50(!) piece of fruit a week, so I'm thinking of getting a box- or maybe two.
Ick, I've just received a carton of this as a freebie with my grocery order. Has anyone used it? The pack seems to suggest that I can use it as a substitute for egg in anything, even recipes calling...
Can anyone recommend a cookbook with lots of nice main course salads and spring/summer things? I am feeling as if Spring has sprung and I'm still eating Winter, IYSWIM.
What a difficult week- we've moved house and moved country in the same week that H's work has been crazily busy and in which they're announcing who in his department is being made redundant...just...
Did you manage to get a replacement for your brother's helicopter?
Does anyone have any brilliant storage solutions for these things? At the moment my dried herbs and spices are just in a cupboard, which makes it hard to find what I want. I have lots and they're not...
If someone's darling wife bought her husband some London Pride beer, would said darling wife be correct to put it in the fridge or the cupboard?

The finalists this year seem very weak to me compared to previous years. Do you remember the barrister chap who was consistently excellent and the young girl who was so interesting (if a bit...

Hmmph, the removal men (who are packing my stuff) told me to stay in the house all day in case they had any questions. The only question so far has been about how to get to the bar they're off to...
I have a packet of contraceptive pills (Microgynon) with a use by date of 03/09. Can I take them? The first pill would be taken on 21/02, so the last would be 13/03. Or does use by 03/09 mean that I...
Would you mind if I emailed you about a worky thing?
I'm trying to get some idea of how hard it is, how long it takes etc. I'm 32 and vaguely fit (as in gym 3x a week, not as in walking/running miles a day). Would I need to improve my fitness...
I need a new vacuum cleaner. It should be a cylinder type (do I mean cylinder? I mean the ones where you hold the cleaning bit only and the other bit sits there) not an upright, as we have lots of...
We have a working fireplace on the ground floor. I'd like to put a gas fire in our bedroom, which is on the first floor on the same chimney. Is it possible to have both real and gas fires on the same...
If so, could you let me know the ingredients and cooking time and temp for cheese stars (in the children's section, I think)? I would be eternally grateful ?
Could you tell me the ingredient proportions for the Yorkshire pudding recipe?
Am hoping to buy a car today- a 1yo Fabia from an approved dealer. The dealer I'm going to has a few that fit the spec I want, between £6500 and £7500. I'll be paying cash. I have no sense of how far...
I know grumbling is more fun than praising but there ARE some good businesses out there. John Lewis/Waitrose- oh I could write reams about JL/Waitrose, but shall limit myself to noting how lovely and...
What do I need to play my ipod through my stereo? The stereo's about 8 years old so possibly not equipped with the right holes, iyswim. I have a big jumble of wires that seem to be something to do...
Sorry for dullness. 1. If I test drive a secondhand car from an approved dealer, will the dealer usually have an insurance policy that covers me? My Belgian insurance only covers me on my car, not...
How do I do my hair to make it look like Hermione Granger's (Harry Potter)? I have a curling tong, a hairdryer and some GHD straighteners although nb I have never used the tong or straighteners and am...
I'm attending a seminar this weekend as part of a course I'm studying. The course leads to a particular qualification which is recognised in the field I want to move into, and the majority of...
We are staying in for NYE. Can anyone suggest anything fun (other than indoor picnic/champagne blowjob- obviously that goes without saying ?). Just cooking a nice meal doesn't seem very exciting,...
Last year there was a fabulous thread (started by rache maybe) in which people listed their present ideas for family so far and asked for advice on gifts they were stuck on. The thread had some great...
Does anyone have any idea how hard this is and how much it's likely to cost? The rings in question are platinum- one with a diamond, one plain. I only need them a size or two smaller, I think.
...and I'm still waiting for my husband to leave work so that I can order pizza for dinner. My word, I am SO hungry but I don't want to eat anything or I won't enjoy the pizza so much ?
...ideally in some sort of mesh material. (Do I mean mesh? I'm thinking of that sort of transparent stuff, a bit like tights). I'm 32E and haven't seen anything like this- maybe the fabric's not...
My lovely Seven jeans have developed a hole in the knee after only 6 weeks. Are they always this crap? I'm so disappointed. It's only a smallish hole. Here in Brussels walking around with a hole in...
My MIL constantly criticises us for not answering our phones when she calls. It has caused a number of (v minor) rows and has irritated my husband to the extent that he dreads speaking to her. I think...
