Has anyone worn or is wearing black for their hen do?

Our wedding ceremony is booked for 11AM. In what order/times should we plan to do things? The ceremony and reception are at the same venue so I don't have to take into account that people will be travelling between venues.

Would you do wedding speeches before or after the meal? I'm thinking of doing them before the meal but wanted to know other people's opinions
