On the wedding topic, I was told I was going over the 12 week mark last Saturday, I thought it was 10 weeks! So 2 weeks bonus now, uhu!!

Got my first go at the cake toppers done and they are not bad, I think. Once they are finished I will flash them here. Just been to order the wedding bands and start the giftlist at Debs yesterday, I am sooo tired, but we had so much fun doing it. Hen is this weekend, looking forward to it!

Waiting the RSVPs to finish coming to start the table plan and DIYs...

I have now hit the 11 weeks to go mark! Panic is settling in a little as we still have so much to do!

We hit the 7 weeks mark tomorrow - how crazy is that!?

I really can't believe how fast it is coming around ?

I'll be 9 weeks Saturday! ️?️

Doing a big push to get those last RSVPs and meal choices!! What did I get myself into? ?

Most of guests replied already but without of them, I can't properly get forward with the planning!

The gist of what still needs doing:

> Finish choosing the songs for the jukebox (doing as I type this)

> Give another go to the cold porcelain cake toppers

> Get last things for teh decor

> Do the favor boxes (will double as a nameplace and menu holder) - This will take the longest and need the feedback from guests to decide table plan and colour of each favor box ?

> Make more cold porcelain tulips for the ceremony table

> Make the bouquet and corsages

> Finish the direction signs

> Get helpers presents

> Meet with caterers and venue organizers for last touches (already booked)

> Finish the dress

> Get the ties for the wedding party

> Pick up wedding rings

> Send venue and registrar forms off (we are dwelling on surnames)

We have booked it all last min as I couldn't cope with months and months of planning! we booked the church last week and get married on 5th July!

I have my menu tasting tomorrow and my dress fitting on tuesday ( please send me vibes ladies) hopefully I've dropped enough baby weight to fit into it ?

I had my makeup trial 3 weeks ago

I am writing this at 6am, been wide awake for the last few hours with wedding stuff in my head!

I had a bit of a breakdown last Monday Bank Holiday, worried everyone was criticizing my ideas and crafts, cried non stop for about an hour but all of that is gone and am now on the happy go lucky track!!! Is Bridezilla making an appearance?? =D

Not much advance since my last update, but got all materials for the DIYs, and getting excited about it all!

I'm a July bride too. We only booked in December and then spent months deciding whether to stick with it or elope!!

Things that I think I still need to do are

Decide on centre pieces

Finalise bouquets

find shoes and jewellery for me and bridesmaids

legal stuff (really need to hunt for mine and my mums birth certificate as my passport is out of date)

7 more days til rsvps are supposed to be back. Once I have them, need to do table plan.

Decide what sweets I want for sweet table

decide on music

havent even thought about favours yet

dont have transport to get to venue either.

hair mad naked up trials are in 3 weeks

my dress has been delayed but should be in the shop ready to try on June 20th

im sure there's lots more that I have to do. I dont remember

We just finalised all our music choices and written our own promises. Sending all that off tomorrow.

Got so much left to do but it is all boring stuff IYKWIM? Things like ordering the table plan (no time to make it myself now!) and sitting people down etc. Bought over £100 of sweets the other day for our sweet table though, they will be with me soon mmmmmmmmmm

We sent off our form today ?

Soooo much still to do. Top priorities over next 2 weeks are:

Chasing RSVPs

Sorting out chairs (yes I know I really should have done this by now)

Bridesmaids Jewellery and bags

Hair trial this Friday and Make-up trial next week

Decide where everyone is going to sit and make table plan

Oh as well as working, sorting out father's day, h2b's birthday, constant school events for end of term, toddler tantrums, teenage angst and a bloody big bandage on my foot that means I cant have my dress fitting as I cant get my sodding shoe on and I cant go to the gym either.

Eek! Not long now!

Ive so much to do! DF is outside cleaning the barn for the reception, I've to organise tables, chairs, desserts and shirts for everyone plus 100s of other things that I keep thinking of!!

So I had my dress fitting and IT FITTED!!!!

I had resigned myself to the fact it wouldn't but it did, it was a little snug but it zipped all the way up and to beat the snugness I'm currently on slim fast and exercising daily now the doctors have given me the go ahead xx

I had my fitting on Monday with my seamstress and my dress was a little tight Got to do some sit ups and eat a bit healthier I think!!

My list is definitely getting shorter which is good. Mainly just DIY things left to do...order of service needs putting together although it is printed, and table plan!

So, what is on your to-do lists for this weekend?

• Hair trial tomorrow :-)
• Decide on and order jars for favours and get them to florist (she has been amazing. she has already made our gorgeous invitations and is now decorating the jars for us to match the invitations)
• Chase venue for answers to questions I asked in email couple of days ago
• Depending on item above, order chairs
• Get menu confirmed by venue so menus can be made
• Make h2b chase his brother to find out if he is actually coming to wedding. Bump some evening guests to day if he isn't
• Make sister finally try on her dress with her shoes so I can arrange alterations if needed
• Finally make some decisions re bridesmaids jewellery
• Not go to dress fitting tomorrow as toe is still infected and I cant get shoes on :-(
• Stop eating so much junk food or I will undo all my hard work and my dress wont fit

Getting there now:

Had call today from bridal shop, all alterations on my dress are done wooo!

2 bridesmaids dresses ready to collect on Sunday after being altered.

OH has finally got all of his wedding attire bought.

Just about to start paying final balances on the big stuff, venue, tog etc.

Nearly finished disco playlist, just need to transfer to ipod.

Need to back up ceremony cd's, make up water beads for centrepieces, finish a couple of signs, make jam for favours but am doing that the week before, still need bridesmaid shoes for my youngest daughter.

Other than that almost there. 5 weeks Monday yikes!!!

Oh hell, I have less than 5 weeks to go now - where did June go? (and May, April, March....)

Am seriously behind schedule . The to-do list for this weekend reads:

Saturday - Drinking at a festival with my work colleagues

Sunday - hopefully have engagement shoot (babysitter drams mean it may have to be cancelled)

Chase sodding venue yet again as STILL have not heard from them re final meeting

Chase chair company as they have not sent paperwork to me yet

Send menu details to my wedding fairy (my florist - she did my invitations and is also doing my menus and favours - without her I would crumble)

Wash 50 jam jars after one broke in transit, meaning all of them have tiny shards of glass in

Taste the sweets that arrived today for favours - just to make sure they taste yummy enough of course.

Finalise please play / dont play list for singer and dj and send it over to her

I refuse to even think about what I have to do next week.

I am the last one to get married (I'm the 31st July) so what do you all have planned for this weekend?

Had my hair and makeup trial today and going for a meal at my lovely venue tonight can't wait.

Yay! So exciting! It has seemed a long way off and now I can say I'm getting married 2 weeks on sat!! My married name passport arrived yesterday as well !

We are almost there now. Mammoth jam making for favours the weekend and then its just bits and pieces and getting it all packed up:-D

It is my birthday today so with some of my money shall get some nice make up for mua to use and something nice to get ready in.

I also have a kind of works hen do on Friday so getting excited for that too!

Hello brides to be!

Im picking up all my dresses this week from seamstress and have got my afternoon tea on Saturday .

Has my hair and makeup trial on Tuesday, was a bit of a disaster and now I'm really unsure how my hair is going to look on the day
