July 2014 brides?

Any updates brides?

I got my invites out! (Pics here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/50939648/invites.png) so that's a big thing off the list! We also picked our cake and got that booked

Have got my invites & BM dresses!!

Invites were from Jumpfox on ebay

Dresses from BHS with 25% off and free delivery ?

I also got my shoes - £19 reduced from £110 - couldn't remember if I'd flashed!

Also, confirmed WR order with our jeweller - they should be ready in 3 weeks!!!

We have had a heck of a lot going on and have now sorted:

- Bridesmaids dresses

- Suits

- Center pieces

- Chair covers

- Back drops

- Table swags

- Sent our invitations

- Hairdresser

- Make up artist

- Spoken to the reverend

- Booked a minimoon

Non wedding related we have now:

- Discovered we are having a baby girl

- Brought our own 3 bed house ( got given the deeds yesterday)

- Sorted maternity and paternity leave

I feel like I'm chasing my own tale most days lol x

For us, we have tested the table decor on Wednesday, which takes a load of my shoulders! We are using unusual centrepieces, so was nice to see OH and FMIL likes my ideas

Need to get invites done, sort out videographer, start refurbishing the dress and doing DIY stuff!

Is getteing so real and close now!!

Thanks ladies and yeah I didn't want to find out but my H2B brought me a 4D scan and I felt mean for not letting him know little ones gender so I caved in x

How are you doing?

A bit hectic now we are driving into the 4 months mark, or is it just me? =D

OH got the invites today, unfortunately I have to wait until late tonight to have a peek as he is going out after work! Can't wait to see them, so exciting, for me is when things will get real!!

Also tested the table decor last month, a few adjustments needed, but overall all quite good. The venue is also trying to sort out the internet connection so I can transmit the wedding to family and friends who won't make it. Everything else booked:

- Catering

- Dressmaker (should start mum's dress refurb in April/May)

- Photographer

- Video peeps

- Entrainment

- Registrar (need to send the questionnaire about the ceremony back)

- Hair and Make Up is pre booked with a friend, tbc

- Cake being done by FMIL and groom's cake being done by OH's friend

- Venue dressing company

Anything else to book I might have forgotten?

DIY stuff, shoes, and details will start once I come back from my trip back home for 3 weeks, but I think all is going well!

I have same bhs bm dresses. They are stunning but im really struggling to find teen bm dresses to coordinate with them. I feel like I am way behind everyone else. Still havent sorted invites,grooms outfit,dj. Eek.

I get married on July 19th ?

Think thats it off the top of my head still abit left to do though & all main things sorted apart from mens suits and my shoes underwear etc

Im the 21st July, ticker is now under 4 months so now get a mixture of sheer panic and excitement.

Still need to:

Buy wedding rings

Finish making all the bunting

Sort candy buffet sweets

Finish making and buying stuff for kids activity bags

I bought my jewellery and hv decided to return them which i did yesterday as my tiara came and i thought it didnt match. So now need to go jewellery shopping again.

Buy thank you gifts.

Buy h2b's shoes and cravat.

Ties for bm and fob. (Pocket squares for the 3 of them).

Buy my perfume.

Renew passport (forgot) oops, onto it now and posting monday.

Playlist for disco onto ipod.

Buy disco lights.

Have hair trial.

Finish making seating plan and all signs.

Oh pants panic time and i bet there is more i have forgot!! Is anyone else not sleeping?? I live weddings, i cant remember what pre-wedding planning life was like!! I may need counselling afterwards to re-adjust!!

Oops . Left wedding rings,kids activities,hen do, thank yous and lots more off my list. Strangely im not panicking tho. Sure I will flip out if the list is still this long in June but for now its manageable

I forgot thank you notes too. Plus bm's hair accessories and shoes for 3 of them, favours - havent filled jars with sweets/choc and still dunno what to put in them, games activity box needs doing also, choices form for ceremony needs finishing and submitting. That is enough to be getting on with i think lol.

Things have been crazy!! All back from my trip back to my other home, bringing lots of stuff for the big day!!

On the to do list still:

- Start the dress refub (next month)

- Finish the selection of songs for the jukebox

- DIY stuff (bouquet, corsages, favours boxes, signs, banners, cake toppers)

- Get groom's suit

- Get wedding party ties

- Get flower girls shoes and hairpieces and page boys suits and shoes

- Get wedding bands

- Speeches& Vows (will have to translate them)

- Decide name we will adopt and send the form to the registrar

- Pack the decor and label packages to go to venue dressing company

- Decide on drink packages

- Decide on giftlist

What I have done already:

- Booked venue, photographer, video, venue dressing, registrar, hair & make up, live music "band", jukebox & extras.

- decided cake design (FMIL is already practicing and testing), all decor.

- flowergirl dresses, material for DIYs, thank you presents for girls who helped with the wedding (I wont have BMs),

Am I missing anything?

Starting to get on top of me, but trying to keep calm and composed! LOL

Heya,

It's been a while since I posted here but I've slowed right down with all my wedding planning now and I'm just doing small bits like the order of service. We've fully settled into our house and our little girl is due in 4 weeks so once she is here I'm giving it 2-3 weeks and then I have things like the menu tasting, dress fitting, make-up and hair trials, harpist music and bit to sort.

getting so close now!!! I have dress alterations and accessories to sort, flower girl dress and thank you gifts!

looking forward for the madness to be over and the marriage to begin tbh!

I know it's flying by scarily fast!

Next on our list is to get OH's suit.... He hasn't even looked yet... I've had my dress a year! Also need to get evening invites sorted. It's strange because at the start I was so ahead and ready for this but the closer the day is getting the worse I am at being organised!

Day invites are out but not done evening ones yet and h2b has STILL not done his evening guest list. This month we have picked our rings,booked our wedding night stay,bought my underwear,booked hair and makeup trial and chosen our menu . Still lots to do . Next on list,apart from invites, is finalising the vows and other ceremony details,booking bouncy castle,buying garden games and renting chairs.

All the pictures uploaded looking fab, love coming on here to get inspiration. I see a few brides are getting married on 5th July, same as us

We have the following things sorted.

• Booked registrar
• Wedding insurance
• Sent off chosen readings and music to be approved by the registrar
• Venue booked
• Photographer booked
• Cake booked and style and flavours all picked out ?
• Wedding rings ordered and tried on
• Table decoration/centre pieces picked out
• Day and evening invites sent out - 95% day invites received back and 80% evening invites received
• Dress bought and first dress fitting next Saturday ?
• My beautiful bag (present from the FOB & MOB) shoes,hair piece, jewellery, and make up bought
• MOB's whole outfit picked out, in one very successful shopping trip.
• Bridesmaids/MOB/bride hair trial booked (also next Saturday).
• Mother in law' outfit picked out
• Brides maids dresses, jewellery, hair pieces and shoes bought.
• Grooms-men picked
• Bridal party flowers and button holes, made by my very skilled mother!
• Grooms suit,shirt, shoes,belt and socks bought
• FOB's suit and shoes sorted
• Wedding room decorations bought and stored, this includes giant outdoor games
• Transport booked
• Wedding night hotel booked
• Tea party hen do booked
• Go carting and BBQ stag do sorted
• Favours made and stored

A big thank you to my mother who should be a wedding planner as she is just so darn good at this wedding stuff!!!!

Can't believe we are close to the 3 months mark so fast!!

Shame it means have less and less time to to enjoy the hitchers boards, boo!

Hi...I'm 12th July like some of you, suddenly aware of it getting closer!

Done:

Venue and church, food, musicians and dj, flowers, dress and accessories, bridesmaid dresses, groom and BM outfits, rings, insurance,accommodation, favours, invitations ordered, gift list, table decorations

To do:

Order of service, booze, hen do, honeymoon, gifts for wedding party, send out invites, table plan

Think that's it, hopefully not overlooking anything major!

Me and OH did our table numbers this weekend!

I know... I seriously can't believe how fast time has gone!

We are just sorting the table plan ready to send off and be made for us (too lazy to do it ourselves!) and also send off evening invites. Feel really behind now!

My OH bought his suit on Friday. I can't wait to see it.

We are going ring shopping and shoe shopping for him this week as well.

Went to a wedding fair at my venue yesterday and saw my florist and cake maker and used the opportunity to double check they had us in their diary ?

*BT* Another little update is that my Mum is pregnant! I found out about 10 weeks ago but she is now 15 weeks gone so I thought it would be okay to properly announce now. She will be 28 weeks at my wedding. Bit of a shock, and obviously unheard of at their daughters wedding I think! I am very happy though

Oh my word!! It has just hit me that i am at the 11 week mark!!! Aaargh if i wasn't full of flu i might have an excited run around the house :-D not long until July lovely ladies! I hope you are all on top of the planning. X

So ladies Lilly arrived on the 21st April at 15:43 weighing 6lb 15oz by emergency cesarean. I was very ill after but here she is...
