Next big thing to sort out is the rings and honeymoon

I'm a 10/11/12 bride!

So far we have booked the Venue, the TOG, florist, transport and most importantly brought my dress!

We are in the process of creating our STD's, going to look at bridemaids dress in Jan as my sister is about to have a baby.

OH is going to get his suit made mid next year and around then I will start to look for bits and shoes!

We sort of know what entertainment we want but just need to confirm that!

We are going to have our rings made so will wait until feb time for this.

Thsi year is flying by as well!!!

I really need to make a proper list of what I have sorted, as these threads always panic me and make me think it all out again!!

Work In Progress:

Stationery, Suits (Just need to get my dad in for a fitting, sorry BespokeTailor!!), Guest List

Not done anything about:

Favours, Bridesmaids stuff, My shoes, Other decorations, Hen/Stag nights

I'm sure there's a million other things I need to think about but I'm in a bit of a lull at the moment, thought it would go away at the one year to go point, but I have not yet found my planning mojo*.

Gosh you made me remember other things iv got that I forgot about! Knew that would happen!

Got TOG, Piper, Car company reserved for the day but not picked out specific cars yet, mens buttonholes, band booked (but im scared cos shes a friend of mine and shes had an accident and done her back in and I just hope and pray she'll be ok), flowers sorted, Oh got the RINGs last week! delighted.

didnt do a STD. hmm does that mean you've already got people saying they cant come. I'd love to know who wasnt coming right now so I can put my friends on lol

I'm 11th August and so far we have:

Have got a pair of shoes for me but may need to change as they are quite high

Giving notice on Monday

Friends are doing our cake and flowers so technically they are booked, just not planned as yet.

Hen night is out of my hands as my BMs are organising everything!

Think we have both found our wedding rings, we just need to order them.

That's about it so far. I really want to get cracking on the smaller things but OH is being stubborn. I don't think he realises how much there is still to do!

Buuuuut, I'm working on the following in the next month or so:

Florist, cake, ordering rings, booking honeymoon, ordering mine and BM's dresses, chair covers, first night accom and invitations. Oh forgot shoes and garter too.

Plenty of time tho Hannioli, one of my own personal problems was I did too much too soon and then had a MASSIVE gap where I couldn't do anything and now I'm suddently getting to do stuff and its FAB!!

I have the honeymoon booked, including hotels for stayover the night before and after we fly - just waiting on flybe to update their flights to include April so we can book the flights from wick to manchester and back.

I'm April 2012...

Done: Booked church (includes organist, choir, bell-ringers), reception venue, caterer, mobile bar, mens suits, cars, coaches for guests, band, harpist, DJ, florist, cake (friend making it), photographer, videographer (friends again), hair and make-up, Bought my dress, ordered rings, made and sent STDs, block booked hotel rooms for guests, started making favours, bought Pimms (when it was on offer!), bought flip-flops for basket (ditto!), chosen bridesmaid dresses, designed place cards and favour cards and ordered from Vistaprint so I can start writing them (not very fast at calligraphy so will take ages!), designed invites and most other stationery, chosen my veil.

Still to do: Order bridesmaid dresses, order my veil, buy shoes / underwear / jewellery, buy flower girls' dresses, presents for wedding party, choose music and readings, make invites and other stationery, buy wine / champagne / soft drinks, and lots of other little decoration bits and pieces.... oh, and book honeymoon!

Got: dress, venue, church, cars (uncles and dads cars), cake decided (made by aunt), make up artist (cousin) DJ (family friend), photographer (friend with own company), videographer, chair covers, sparkle curtain, venue dresser, photobooth, favour boxes, shoes ordered (should arrive this week) tiara, necklace, best men & Dads gift.

Got to get: guys suits, girls dresses made, decide if having flowers,order invitations, book honeymoon, get my wedding mojo back

I'm September and have TOG, dress, venue, car, and registrar done. Thats it!

Booking VOG at end of month. Chose hen nite destination! Sort of decided on invites and shoes!

Im still buying stuff! Just tonight I have bought the envelopes for the CDs we are giving out to the guests to return digital photos on, and a gorgeous unity candle set from ebay!

LOADS! Dress, Suits, Bridesmaid Dresses, Rings, Choose music and readings, Favours, Invites and Stationary (sorting this at the mo- think we've decided on a style, just need to buy the bits as we are doing DIY)
