Open wide - can I throw in all the people who've asked me in the last 2 months "how married life is treating me".

What am I meant to say? I'm torn between "We hate each other already and are looking into getting a quickee celebrity style divorce" OR "We can't wait to get home every night to rip each other's clothes off and go at it like rabbits in every room in the house

*I think we're going to need a bigger bag*

I second, third and fourth this!!

I'm going to start being honest with people and say "well it's a bit bollocks really. We've been screwed over by an estate agent to the tune of £2500, meaning we may not be able to afford our mini-moon next month after all and that's after having sacrificed a honeymoon already. I hate my job and am constantly exhausted, and MIL has gone back to driving me up the wall. Happy you asked???" .... and then watch them crawl away in fear ?

Or worse - I'm chucking in brides with tan lines!

This is a great thread. Haven't got through it all yet but saw something about pimp canes & crushed velvet purple suits. I saw a trailer for Don't Tell the Bride earlier (I think it was a repeat) where the groom did a Willy Wonka themed factory. Complete with crushed velvet suit & pimp cane!

Throws in old typewriter and tatty old suitcase that wouldn't see the light of day in your home but for some reason is perfect for the wedding decor/card holder as 'it's vintage'. Also people who won't put into wedding collections 'as they are doing their own thing' and never do anything, tight wads!

I'm chucking in the FMIL who tells EVERYONE that she hates ur venue and goes into immense detail about all of the things she hates, tells u who u can and can't invite, (wanting me to invite an auntie who said my brother was ugly cos he's ginger! My brother only being 11), tells u where u can and can't have ur wedding (cos some people can't drive - I don't give a flying f**k, if they wanna be there they'll find a way) and says that everything we want is 'ridiculous'!

And also guests who wear white or black.

    Rant over

I had to log in to add a big WSS to this!! I had 2 responses like this to my STDs which I gave out 18 months before the date!! I mean WTF - I'm giving them to you to ask you to reserve the date for my wedding, not for you to wait and see if something better comes up!

Back on topic - I'll throw in excessive frills. On anything.

    Thank you.

My H2B is wearing a burgundy cravat and waistcoat and the other men are wearing ivory. I've told him I'll look like a bigamist in our wedding photos but he doesn't care.

The groom should be in the same colour as the bride's dress and I'm sure that people will think I'm married to the best man or something when they look at my photos.

Can I add those diamond thingies that get stuck inside the center of roses used in bouquets? I love flowers, but never in nature have I ever seen diamonds growing inside flowers, so it just looks so odd to me.

    *Clears throat*

Wedding dresses with colour accents. Especially the ones with the 2 stripes down the back and embroidery.

    Balloons

    Short Grooms in tails

    Tophats

Dresses so tight the resulting back fat on show offends my eyes

    Structures Up Do's

    Orange brides and BM's

The incorporation of animals in a Wedding, whether decorative, (Goldfish in a bowl) ceremonial, (Releasing birds/butterflies) or as members of the Wedding party (Dog walking up the aisle)

    *Hurls in to bag*

    This thread is hysterical,, lol.

Trickers,, I know what you mean about those diamond things catching on to things, have seen them ruin many a veil when they have caught on them.

To those who threw butterflies in the bag,, you realise that is pointless, as they will just fly out again,, sort of like a butterfly release Smiley winking

I'm shoving deep into the bag, shot lists which have 3 pages of set up shots, by couples who have said they want only documentary style coverage.

I am also going to have to throw in face powder or foundation that is too sparkly/shimmery on the face. Seriously, all that does is make people look sweaty, and even the smallest pore look huge.
